Mezőség Szék is a town being situated in north-eastwards from Kolozsvár. There is an old salt-mine here. Szék has really large population, and it has an outstanding position because of its craftsmen, markets and old schools. Costum of Szék can be characterized by its moderate colours and simple piece of clothes. In men's costum the dominated colours are white, black and blue in the case of women these colours were white, black and red.
